Olympus Tough TG-3 waterproof camera hands-on

This month we've gotten the opportunity to complete a closer look at the Olympus Tough TG-3 rugged and best waterproof iPhone case camera in the field. This camera is waterproof to 50 feet, crush-proof up to whopping 220 pounds, dust-proof, shock-proof up to 7 feet, and freeze-proof down to 14-degrees Fahrenheit. Needless to say, if we discovered it could also shoot excellent videos and photos, we had to get yourself a better peek.

This camera is extremely productive for general photography and videography - both of them underwater as well as about, on dry land. There's an interesting Really focus Stacking function that we'll receive into deeper in our final analyze, and general focus is super-quick as well - for now we'll target the dunk.

What you're network industry here is a mix of two underwater dunking adventures. One is at home in the consortium - the other is in swampy moisture with alligators in New Orleans.

This camera works with 16-megapixels as to power with a BSI CMOS Detektor inside, F2. 0 and high-speed lens setup, and is compatible with countless iPhone waterproof lenses from Olympus whether or not you'd like to adjust. Olympus has also a "floating strap" you might inevitably be wanting to grab if you're prone to burning off your camera in the deep.

We would like to thank Olympus for net SlashGear in New Orleans within the OM-D and Tough TG-3 show which took place earlier this month. One particular footage you're seeing here with shot by Vincent Nguyen with is part of a full review of some sort of Olympus Tough TG-3 which will be just around the corner - stay tuned!
