Holographic techniques using real world illusion called the spectre of the past

There is no doubt that if Jimi Hendrix, zhannisi·Qiao spring or Jim Morrison (the three singers had died) will appear at a concert, the concert tickets will be sold!

Now, technology is helping us to gradually achieve this goal.

Entertainment companies are investing heavily to make the audience like singers, actors, and even Jesus Christ himself back on stage, it's all built on the basis of holographic technology. Although early in the 19th century, performers have holographic imaging on stage playing tricks, but now in the 21st century, we have a much stronger technical methods to present more realistic, more shocking results.

Pepper's Ghost Ted Baker Galaxy S3 Case

The Pepper was not launched by SOFTBANK cute robot, but a 19th century United Kingdom scientist and inventor John Henry Pepper. His most famous deed in 1862, on the stage of London's Institute of "call" out of the ghost. Pepper through the erection of reflective glass on the stage, the actor's screen into the audience at a specific angle, brings ghosts floating above the stage effect.

This method is effective. 150 years later, the dead United States rapper tupaike·xiakuer was reborn on stage by virtue of this method, see the video below. Staff at 45-degree angle on the stage at the stage laid a sheet of Mylar film and high-definition video stream digitally rebuild the Pike onto this film, because film is transparent, reflected image looks just like Tupac resurrection was reborn on stage--he said he sang his wanton dances. Pepper's Ghost returned in another way.

In fact, Pepper's Ghost is easy to build, the key lies in the transparent reflector angle, you can easily make in your home. Lei Feng today reported before the four plastic-made holographic projector essentially Pepper's ghost. A look at the video, "calling ghost" can actually be simpler – put the cat into the glass in front of it!

High tech holographic display

Pepper's Ghost is still too low, 21st century we still expect some advanced stuff. Now, labs around the world in studying more powerful holographic rendering technology. Japan's digital nature group (DNG) team combines Femto-lasers, mirrors and cameras to generate could touch the holographic images, see the following video. A femtosecond is equal to one-seconds. The team designed the laser can ionize the air in the air formed the duration for femtosecond luminescence of 30-270 point, through continuous ionization in air to form dynamic image visible to the human eye.

I can see, these effects are very visually appealing. The image of the team is now making a large laser, may not be long before we will be able to see the sci-fi film came out showing a holographic display technology.

Commercial applications

Nature of the pursuit of profit is a businessman, holographic technology is worth investing in a good business, at least, the razzmatazz. Hologram Alkiviades David, founder of USA bought Parker rebirth of holographic technology. He is planning to use this technology for more performance-Ray Charles and libolasi show is already in the planning. Other performers who are still alive are beginning to embrace the holographic technology, early in 2007, the United States let Elvis Idol using holographic projection and singer Celine Dion has been chorus singer Mariah Carey Christmas in 2011 by way of holographic projection in Europe during the show.

So, although now holographic technologies are just the ghost Pepper today, but I believe that, one day, when we watched the singer on stage when we can't tell if it is real, or just for some images.

HoloLens holographic glasses

Based on Microsoft's years of accumulated technology and development, the HoloLens did for real-world scenarios and natural gesture tracking, understanding and modeling, and real-time rendering of virtual worlds and overlay (at least). Once this step is achieved, is to subvert his Phone's core competencies.
